without question our attending last weeks training was very helpful and informative. I've no doubt that in the fullness of time the various aspects/techniques covered
will form part of the process that will enable us at Sun UK, to further push the envelope and raise the bar in terms of quality to which others will aspire!

We started from scratch!
Phase one of our three phase course (to learn Autodesk 3D Viz and Discreet 3DS Max) took us from knowing nothing about the software to producing 3D models following the initial four day course.
Most architectural practices under estimate the value of training. They purchase a new piece of software and expect the novice user to start producing ‘works of art’ without any form of instruction. Training should be integral with purchasing a new piece of software and also a tool for the continuing development of skills.
Our training brief to Freehand was to guide us to a position after four days so that we could return to the office and start using the software immediately. This was important as clients become increasingly demanding in terms of quality of work and timescales in the world of architecture.
The reason we chose Freehand was because they deal with a wide variety of 3D industries giving them a greater understanding of the software; they also possess in-depth hardware knowledge as well as the ‘Discreet Trainer of the Year 2001’ Geoff Alder.
In short they (Freehand) offer a great all-round package.
